初能變

(初能變, 初能变)

The initiator of change, or mutation, i. e. the (sa) ālaya-vijñāna, so called because the other (sa) vijñānas are derived from it.

唯識宗說萬法唯識所變， 其能變識有三種， 以第八阿賴耶識為初能變， 末那識為第二能變， 前六識為第三能變。
